First Mate “Mrs. Sue” (Serini)

Sue spent many years as a highly capable executive assistant before following her passion and becoming an accomplished yoga instructor. If you happen to spot Ohana on the hook nearby, don’t be surprised if she invites you aboard for a sunrise yoga session on deck. Sunset classes are unlikely… that’s prime time for sundowners and good conversation. 🤪

In the galley, Sue is best described as a true Culinarian! Someone who has mastered the technical and scientific aspects of food preparation across both savory and sweet disciplines, not because of a title, but because of passion, curiosity, and talent. Life aboard Ohana often includes the smell of fresh homemade bread coming from the oven and thoughtfully prepared, healthy meals that make boat life feel like a floating home.

Sue is also the proud mom of two adorable French bulldogs, Tobin and Quincy, both certified pet therapy dogs who bring smiles and a following wherever they go.

While she enjoys zipping around her local waters on her center console, Sue also has sailing roots. In a previous chapter she sailed monohulls, and she’s proven herself to be a natural aboard Ohana… confident tossing lines on deck and more than capable behind the wheel.

Between sunrise yoga, fresh bread in the galley, laughter over sundowners, and a deep love for life on the water and adventure, Sue brings warmth, balance, and a little bit of magic to the Ohana crew
