First Dive!

To get used to diving with a camera, lens, and light, I did a simple test dive at Marker 32 in Key West. I hovered near the bottom of the mooring ball, playing with how the light changed the images, how the red filter affected color, and how easy it was to switch between video and stills. Surprisingly, it was far easier than using a GoPro. Below are my first pictures… and YES, I have a lot to learn!

The very first picture I took!

Was amazed at how the light brought out the color in the orange in the one coral and the vein in the fan coral

Though vis was good water was not as clear as it has been. Most of the pictures I took were videos.

(which the format/template of this page wont let me upload.)

Trying to get this fish to pose for me…seeing how close I could get before I spooked him

And though out of the social media world, I had to do a selfie… to see how well the fish-eyed lens works
